Sabrina Chen
Sabrina Chen is the creator of Sovereignty Theory — a framework for understanding why capable, high-functioning people repeat patterns they consciously want to break, and how to return authorship to the self. Its diagnostic lens is called Structure Theory.
The theory grew out of a single, stubborn observation: that intelligence, discipline, and insight are not enough. People who know exactly what they “should” do still find themselves doing the opposite — pushing away closeness they want, losing composure they normally have, repeating the same patterns with money, work, and love. Sovereignty Theory names the reason: an old structure completes the decision before the conscious self arrives.
Sabrina writes and teaches on Sovereignty Theory, the First and Old Structures, the Know-Do Gap, and the practice of sovereignty — separating emotional activation from decision so a person can act from choice rather than compulsion. The framework is described through two lenses: Structure Theory, the diagnostic view of what is running you, and Sovereignty Theory, the recovery of authorship.
